Vision More: Redefining What It Means to Live Gospel-Mindedly in Community
Our community is ready to listen to the call of God and start to be a different kind of people, defined by how we love God and our neighbors. We are ready to vision more around how we can begin living missionally as a community and within the context of small groups.
ABOUT THE RETREAT:
On October 8-9, we invite you all to come on a one-night retreat where we will start to redefine what it means for us to live with Gospel-minds and hearts. We hope it will be a space to give The Table community definition and vision around missional living, break down misconceptions, and start the process of discerning, dreaming, and growth for small groups. It will also be a fun space for us to be around one another, hang, play, sit by the fire, eat together, and pray together. Cost: $55 until August 15; $75 until September 20.
FEATURED SPEAKER:
Scott Boren will be guiding us in three sessions to help ask the right questions around the topic of living missionally and take the right first steps in becoming a different kind of community. Scott has spent the last 20 years working as a small group consultant. Scott works with churches to help them develop effective community through small groups that are on mission. Scott has written a number of books including Missiorelate,* Introducing the Missional Church,* and Missional Small Groups. Learn more at http://scottboren.blogspot.com/.
